The Hoodie

We use an extremely plush medium-weight Organic Cotton Royal Apparel hoodie for this design, made proudly sweatshop-free in the USA. An ultra-soft, ultra-comfy hoodie with the softest, warmest fleece available. Sure, these cost us a few more dollars than other brands, but we believe the premium quality is worth every penny. This fabric is 100% Combed Ring Spun Organic Cotton for superb breathability and that classic fleece feel.

 The Printing

Our hoodies are silk-screened by skilled craftsmen in Portland, Oregon, at a shop known for their work with discharge inks. Unlike plastisol inks which place a layer of plastic-like ink on the surface, these special inks actually dye the fibers of the fabric. This leaves a printed area that is light and soft to the touch that won’t crack and disintegrate from wear and washing. The discharge agent in the ink bleaches the original dye from the fabric; this creates a slight heathered effect, giving the print a broken-in or vintage feel with wear.

We use a medium-weight Bella+Canvas sweatshirt for this design, made proudly sweatshop-free in the United States and Nicaragua. This incredibly plush and comfortable sweatshirt lined with the snuggliest of fleece is sure to become a favorite. Polyester (50%) retains shape and elasticity; Ring-Spun Cotton (37%) lends both comfort and durability; the addition of Rayon (13%) makes for a unique texture and drapes against the body for a slimming look.
